Spring Stroll
Go on a guided stroll through this small, beautiful bushland reserve with Tom from Hooked on Nature to learn more about native plants.
Join our morning get-together with Penrith City Council, Hawkesbury-Nepean Landcare and special guests for walking, talking, learning, and weeding!
- Hear about Land for Wildlife, a program for people with bushland on their property who’d like help to restore it.
- Learn about the Saving our Species program from the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
- Go on a guided stroll with Tom Covell from Hooked on Nature.
- Bring a plant sample for identification. A plant display will show some of the natives and weeds that grow around Penrith, with a special focus on threatened species.
- Take home a free native plant and goody bag!
- Get free resources and advice on how to weed, plant and regenerate native species.
- Enjoy a BBQ lunch with us!
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn more about native plants and animals and has bushland or threatened species on their property and wants to help restore it.
