3-bin collection schedule

All single and dual occupancy properties, as well as some small townhouse/villa complexes in the urban areas of Penrith City are on the 3-bin service. Use the form below to find your calendar schedule by selecting the 3-bin Waste Service and your Suburb. Then click the Find Calendar button. If you wish to have a calendar posted to you, please visit The Waste Spot.

Note: For 3-bin kerbside services, these calendars only show fortnightly residual waste collection. If you have a weekly service, your red-lidded bin will continue to be collected weekly.

Collect and Return collection schedule

Most large multi-unit complexes are on a "Collect and Return" service. The waste collection service provided to these complexes does not require residents to place their bins at the kerbside. Garbage bins are emptied twice weekly and recycling and FOGO bins are emptied weekly by the contractors directly from the bin storage area. Please do not remove bins from the bin storage area so all residents can access and use the bins.Please ensure all waste and recycling are placed inside the bins provided as waste left on the floor of the bin bay cannot be collected.

Schedule effective from 1 September 2023.

Waste Collection Time 

Waste collection generally occurs in the morning; however, collection times may vary from week to week. Collections may commence early in the morning, especially on busy streets and those surrounding schools. This ensures that services are completed in a safe and timely manner. 

In some instances, services may need to start earlier than usual, including but not limited to public holidays, high fire danger warnings, and heat waves. Although waste collection trucks can produce noise, this is considered an essential service and plays a vital role in our community.
