Tench Reserve at the Nepean River has transformed into a vibrant destination for recreation, entertainment and nature.
The $13 million upgrade of Tench Reserve has transformed the area into a vibrant riverside hub with more opportunities for people to explore, exercise, play, connect, and relax.
The open space park features new pathways, more car parking, a scenic boardwalk along the foreshore, new seating areas, public art, picnic spots, and an inclusive play space.
The Tench Reserve Upgrade officially opened to the public in 2023 and was funded by the NSW Government in association with Penrith City Council.
Ongoing investment in the Nepean River Precinct continues to enhance connectivity and enrich the experience for residents and visitors. Learn about other exciting projects including the Regatta Park Upgrade and Nepean Avenue Pathway.
