Mayoral Charity Fundraiser – Penrith 2024
The Mayoral Charity Fundraiser will be held at St Marys Leagues Club on Friday, 21 June 2024.
Envisioned by Penrith Mayor Todd Carney, the Mayoral Charity Fundraiser will aim to raise funds for a local charity.
The chosen charity for 2024 is the Penrith Community Kitchen, which provides those doing it tough in our community a place of comfort and a social connection, to make sure those reaching out for support services can get the help they need.
The event will see people from all walks of life will come together to hear real stories and contribute to a brighter future for those struggling to make ends meet in our community.
The existence of Penrith Community Kitchen depends entirely on donations and fundraising. This not-for-profit organisation relies on the generosity of individuals and local businesses to support people experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, or isolation.
With the rising cost-of-living, more people than ever before are feeling the emotional and financial burden, making it difficult for them to receive the support they require. By providing those in need with a lunchtime meal during difficult times adds value to our local Penrith community where every donation counts!
The Mayoral Charity Fundraiser will be held at St Marys Leagues Club. Local businesses, government organisations, community groups and residents will be invited to attend and raise money for the Penrith Community Kitchen.
Tickets cost $110 and include a donation to the Penrith Community Kitchen. The event will include entertainment, a three-course meal, drinks, a silent auction, and a show.
