Habitat Restoration: Drawing the Cumberland Plain

Our Bushcare team is joining Pat Shirvington for a fun drawing activity capturing the Cumberland Plain landscape features. No drawing experience is required.

We’re drawing the surroundings of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland at Peppermint Reserve. All guidance, pencil and paper will be supplied. No experience required.

After drawing, we’ll be weeding in the reserve to help protect this special landscape and the endangered Native Pear (Marsdenia viridiflora subsp. Viridiflora) which is found here.

What can I expect?

  • You'll be provided paper and pencils and be taught techniques on how to create landscape sketches.
  • You’ll be provided with tools, training, and guidance on how to weed. No experience is required!
  • Yummy refreshments, tea and coffee.

What do I need to wear and bring?

  • Wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt, sturdy closed-in shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
  • Bring a bottle of water.

The event is open to everyone with and without Bushcare experience. Children must be supervised by an adult. Spots are limited, so book now
