10am-2pm

Save the date and make sure you head out to your nearest fire station where your friendly local firies will be on hand to welcome you. There’ll be lots of fun activities and surprises for families and children, including:

• firefighting demonstrations,
• learning more about what firefighters do each day to keep the community safe from fire, natural disaster and other emergencies,
• station tours,
• fire safety presentations like installing and maintaining smoke alarms, and how to plan a home fire escape plan with your family to ensure your safely in the event of a fire,
• a chance to hop on a fire truck and see what it’s like to be a firefighter,
• and maybe even a sausage sizzle.
