Join Author Dianne O’Brien and co-writer Sue Williams for an evening talking about their book, “Daughter of the River Country”.

Author Dianne O'Brien (known as Aunty Di) and co-writer Sue Williams will be speaking about their book 'Daughter of the River Country'. From a victim of the stolen generations comes a remarkable memoir of abuse survival - and ultimately hope.

Aunty Di didn't learn she was Aboriginal until she was 36. Her story is filled with years of abuse and cruelty but ends with miraculous forgiveness and tireless work to help others as a drug and alcohol counsellor, and more recently as the Chairperson of Mingaletta, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community hub.
