Animal Welfare League’s NSW Mobile Vet Truck
Animal Welfare League’s offering free microchipping and health-checks for cats and dogs owned by pensioner or concession card holders.
Available to pension and concession card holders in the Penrith and Hawkesbury council areas.
Does your cat or dog need to be microchipped? The Animal Welfare League NSW’s Mobile Vet Truck will be at Penrith Paceway where friendly staff members will be providing free microchipping and health checks for cats and dogs owned by pensioner and concession card holders. Vaccinations will be available for $20 for cats and dogs as well.
Thanks to the Animal Welfare League NSW Hawkesbury volunteer branch, local pet owners will also have an opportunity to obtain a subsidised voucher to assist with getting their dog or cat desexed through various local veterinary clinics.
Council’s friendly Animal Services officers will be at the day to answer any of your pet-related questions.
Please ensure your cat is in a carrier and your dog is on a lead at all times. This service is not available for pocket pets.
