The annual NSW New Product Workshop recently took place at the Western Sydney Conference Centre in Penrith, marking a significant step for visitor economy businesses in the region.
With the upcoming opening of the Western Sydney International Airport, new pathways for attracting international travellers are set to transform access to Penrith.
Organised by Destination NSW, the workshop brought together 23 visitor economy businesses, from across NSW, providing them with direct access to key travel buyers, including inbound tour operators and online travel agents. This initiative equips local businesses with the tools and connections necessary to thrive in international markets.
The workshop showcased a diverse range of new experiences aimed at attracting international visitors, including unique stays and experiences, accommodation options perfect for road trips, visitor experiences and more.
As Penrith continues to grow, local businesses are encouraged to embrace these opportunities and get ready to welcome a wave of international visitors.
