We’ve moved to an online system to make it faster and easier to get the documents you need when buying or selling property.
You can now apply and pay online for certain property certificates on our website:
- Section 603 certificates (setting out any outstanding rates and charges on a property for sale)
- Section 10.7 Planning Certificates and
- Outstanding Notices certificates (outlining whether any outstanding notices or orders eg for an overgrown block, failure to pay rates or perhaps illegal building works) have been issued by Council in respect of a specific parcel of land in our local government area.
Council now emails these certificates, rather than providing hard copies, so it's important that you provide a valid email address when you apply for any of these. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us on 4732 7777.
