The new owners of the Twin Creeks estate at Luddenham were in Penrith on 17 February to discuss their future plans for the strategic site.
The Twin Creeks Development consortium purchased Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club last year and have plans to capitalise on the site's key location near the future Western Sydney Airport to provide accommodation and conference facilities in Penrith.
"The airport will connect Penrith with the rest of the world, making us the gateway to Australia's largest and most exciting capital City for business, tourism and manufacturing and a number of investors are already talking to Council about the opportunities they see," Penrith Mayor Karen McKeown said.
"We're committed to opening the doors to new projects, capital investment and creating employment opportunities in the City," Penrith Mayor Karen McKeown said.
Chairman of Twin Creeks Development Dr Lam Yin Lok spoke of their plans for future development in Penrith beyond their existing proposal.
"Dr Lam also talked of his corporation's interest in becoming part of the community and enriching the diverse culture of Penrith," Cr McKeown said.
