Thriving Communities Grant

The Thriving Communities Grant funds organisations and community groups to deliver activities that contribute to creating a healthy, connected and safe Penrith community.  

Eligible Applicants

Applicants must:   

  • provide services or be located in the Penrith LGA and deliver activities in the Penrith LGA that benefit Penrith residents.   
  • be a not-for-profit organisation that is incorporated or have evidence of auspice from an incorporated organisation with an ABN.   

Funding Available: 

Applicants may apply for: 

  • Tier One – Sole Applicants - up to $2,500 
  • Tier Two – Partnerships - up to $5,000

  • Housing security and homelessness
  • Cost of living and affordability
  • Mental health
  • Digital access and/or literacy
  • Domestic and family violence
  • Social isolation and loneliness
  • Identity and belonging
  • Emergency preparedness and resilience
