The Safe Communities - Domestic and Family Violence grant is a 3 year pilot project which will cease in June 2027. The grant funds primary prevention initiatives that target the underlying drivers of domestic and family violence.
Eligible Applicants:
Applicants must:
- provide services or be located in the Penrith LGA and deliver initiatives in the Penrith LGA that benefit Penrith residents.
- be a not-for-profit organisation that is incorporated or have evidence of auspice from an incorporated organisation with an ABN.
Funding Available:
Applicants may apply for:
- Tier One – Sole Applicants - up to $2,500
- Tier Two – Partnerships - up to $5,000

2026/27 application dates
Round 1
Applications Open: 6 July 2026
Applications Close: 31 July 2026
Event or program start dates must be on or after 14 October 2026. All activities must be completed within 12 months of the funding agreement and no later than 31 October 2027.
