Good Neighbour Program

Why Good Neighbour?

When people know each other and have positive relationships with their neighbours, they are more likely to feel and be safe in their own community, to have less neighbourhood disputes, less social isolation and a stronger sense of trust and belonging in their own community.

The first step to being a good neighbour is knowing your neighbours. It can be hard to get to know new people, and sometimes you don’t even know where to start.

If you want to introduce yourself to your neighbours, fill out one of our handy postcards. All you have to do is print them out, fill them in and pop one in a neighbour’s letterbox.
