St Marys 2041

St Marys 2041

Connected to the world from 2026, St Marys will be the only established city centre linked to the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport by the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport. This $22 billion game-changing infrastructure positions St Marys at the heart of Sydney’s economic future.

Already a highly effective employment area, Council’s St Marys 2041 plan outlines a clear vision to realise the needs and aspirations of residents, businesses, investors and visitors, focusing on infrastructure, housing, employment, open space and transport.

The revitalised town centre, driven by the ambitious Draft St Marys Town Centre Master Plan and the multi-million-dollar Central Park project, reflects a strong commitment to transformation and innovation paving the way for dynamic commercial, residential, tourism, and educational opportunities.

Located just four stops from Australia’s newest international airport, St Marys offers investors and developers a thriving, opportunity-rich environment ready for growth.

Planning for the future of St Marys Town Centre

With such significant transformation underway in St Marys, Council acknowledged the need to guide planning and development in St Marys Town Centre to realise the needs and aspirations of current and future residents, businesses, and visitors. The result is St Marys 2041 – an exciting planning pathway to manage growth and change in St Marys over the next 20 years through a place-based, design-led process.

Council is inviting community feedback from Monday 4 November 2024 on:

  • St Marys Central Park project design concept and park name
