Report It, Don’t Ignore It

Report It, Don’t Ignore It

Council encourages residents to assist in the reporting of any antisocial behaviour or crime such as graffiti and malicious damage, to the Police.

It can be easy to develop a tolerance to minor crime or become reluctant to report issues, considering them too trivial to report or thinking there is nothing that the police can do.

By simply reporting incidents to the police, you can assist in the collection of data to help identify any emerging trends or patterns, and to enable a more proactive approach to local crime and safety issues.

To Report Non-Emergencies you can:

  • Call the Police Assistance Line (PAL) 131 444
  • Call Crime Stoppers on........................................ 1800 333 000 to report crime anonymously.
  • Report online to the NSW Police Community Portal.........................www.portal.police.nsw.gov.au

Always Call Triple Zero (000) when:

  • The incident is happening now
  • The suspect is still at the scene
  • Anyone is seriously injured or in immediate danger
